It's time to get our heads around Part 3 Use of English, which at times can seem like a lottery of letters and lost hope. Do not fret! Today's training should have you completing part 3 like a 'Pro'.

Here's and example of Part 3 which many of you have seen before in class practice. (If you'd like to complete it we can look at the answers in class.)
So what's the best way to complete this task? Here are my, Top Tips.
- Always read the whole text first.
- The words are in line with the relevant gap. So you don't have to find were they need to go.
- After reading the text fully you can start the task.
- Go with your first instinct. If a word pops into your head it's probably right.
- If you can't think of a word, brainstorm the possibilities and choose one that fits the best.
- You may not need all the letters in the original word. Eg, Complete minus the 'e' at the end + 'ion' = Completion
- Always put an answer, even if you think it may be incorrect. You don't lose any points for trying and it could be the right answer after all.
