Fri-nally!
It's the end of yet another week. This means that you should have in mind some grammar points you need to study today. After our classes this week I found that a little attention to Gerunds and Infinitives is in orderto help you with some of the sentence structures in Part 4 Use of English.
It's the end of yet another week. This means that you should have in mind some grammar points you need to study today. After our classes this week I found that a little attention to Gerunds and Infinitives is in orderto help you with some of the sentence structures in Part 4 Use of English.
Instead of me giving you a very long speech about how and when to use these forms, take a look at this five-minute video.
If you feel that you need a more extensive list of verbs, related to either the gerund or the infinitive, then feel free to click below.
Or the following link which also includes examples for each verb in context.
To make all this study worth while, a lovely exercise to end the day's training. There are many to choose from on this site, so feel free to get stuck in.
And finally, there isn't better way to consolidate all that you've learned than through music. (N.B. I really recommend Robbie Williams song for Pronunciation Karaoke, they are great for breathing and mouth movement practice.)
Have the most amazing weekend!
See you on Monday :)
