It's Thursday!
Time to reflect on the great advances of this weeks training and to continue your 'to be revised' grammar list for tomorrow. Today we will focus again on Use of English Part 3. This part tests your ability to change word into nouns, verb, adjective, adverbs and the negative forms using prefixes and suffixes.
So, do you remember which one is part 3? Refresh your memory below.
Most of you actually enjoy this part. That's great! Nevertheless, it's always a wise move to practice. Revise the grammar and 'how to' in the link below.
Tips
- Read the whole text 1st. The majority of mistakes are made when you don't use the plural of the word that you have formed. For example, Science = scientist. However if the context of the sentence requires the plural, therefore the answer is Scientists.
- Always check your answers by re-reading the text. Does it sound ok?
- Revise the prefixes and suffixes and their meaning HERE!. This pdf is particularly good for those of you who are studying IT. (Manuel) As it talks about those prefixes and suffixes used in programming.
Now for some online exercises to put all your knowledge to work.
Ok, that's it for today. See you tomorrow for some Grammar Extras.
See you soon :)
